108.2.3 寫給 Teacher Nuri 的信
Ryan今天1指神功前後打了約1小時半，很弱的媽咪只幫他分段和改了大小寫及標點符號。
期待老師能回信，這樣Ryan就可持續寫信給老師，練打字及寫文章。
Teacher Nuri是Ryan參加2週冬令營認識的老師， Ryan下課都在跟老師聊天，最後一天，老師留了Email給Ryan，希望Ryan繼續跟老師分享他的生活。
Ryan一路走來靠自己學英語，這老師以為Ryan的家人英語都很好，知道真相時不可置信。
自學也是需要新的刺激，所以寒暑假固定參加營隊打發時間外，也期待多點output的機會，現不單學英語了，更靠英語學更多知識。
Ryan寫出這篇，我也是嚇到，我兒子怎麼那麼厲害，還可比較書和電影的不同，簡短寫出重點劇情，竟然還比較到第一集和第二集電影中，導演犯的錯，到底哪抄來哪聽來的呀，哈～～
大家一定好奇我們做了什麼努力，一樣，真的沒補習班，沒家教，沒線上家教，繼續讀美語沒在教什麼內容的公小，沒寫文法作業本....
就是持續地閱讀、看英語發音的任何Ryan有興趣的節目，而且都選網路上免費的資源，看表演(例如每年一次的敦煌美語大劇、前陣子看了憨弟德輕歌劇表演)，不再單純是在學英語，而是用英語在學更多的知識，娛樂生活了。
Hello Teacher Nuri,
We watched Mary Poppins Returns today! I was a little disappointed to find out that I had to watch Mary Poppins Returns on Sunday rather than Saturday. I love to watch Disney movies! We had lots of fun there, we took some pictures too!
Mary Poppins is played by Emily Blunt, and Jack is played by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is in Hamilton The Musical and creator of the song, "How far I'll go" from the movie "Moana''. The movie and the book, Mary Poppins comes back are very different, the name too! For example, in the movie, Mary Poppins jumps into the bathtub and goes into an underwater sea world and according to the book, there is nothing about diving into bathtubs or underwater sea worlds!
Also, there is a small plot in the story too. Let me talk about it, The Banks Manager is very old, so his nephew takes place instead. Two lawyers who work for the bank told Michael Banks that he did not pay enough money for the house so he has to pay all! Until Friday night twelve o' clock, he has to pay or the bank will have the house. The manager's nephew pretends to help them but he is a villain. They found a Certificate to pay all the bills but they do not have enough time. So Jack and his chimney sweeps climb Big Ben to change time!
And, there is something different between Mary Poppins and Mary Poppins Returns, for example, Mary Poppins parrot-headed umbrella was green in the first film and it was dark brown in Mary Poppins Returns! When Mary Poppins opened the window and took the American Robin inside, the director made a mistake. Because this was an English film and to correct the mistake, the new director, Rob Marshall put an English Robin on Mary Poppins Hat!
I also drew a picture of Mary Poppins flying out of the beautiful evening sky! It was for my mum's birthday.

是的，到目前為止，
我們證明了我們自學到這樣的程度了，
這樣的程度對8歲的孩子是好？還是還可以？還是不好？
我個人是覺得非常好又心滿意足。
一路走來不是僥倖，
是一點一滴的慢慢累積，
而且滿滿是快樂的回憶，
Ryan從不覺自己在學英語，
而語已到程度時，
我知道，
沒有迪士尼美語的開始，
我們絶對辦不到，
相信決定在你，為孩子裝上可飛翔的翅膀吧！
